Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef hamburger
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons flour or cornstarch for gluten-free
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces egg noodles or preferred pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon paprika optional
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess grease.
  • Add olive oil or butter if needed. Sauté diced onion, garlic, and mushrooms until soft.
  • Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  • Slowly pour in beef broth, stirring constantly. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  • Lower heat and stir in sour cream until smooth. Do not boil.
  • Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and combine with the sauce.
  • Garnish with parsley and paprika before serving.
