  • 3 ripe bananas sliced and frozen
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • Optional
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Peel the bananas and slice them into small rounds.
  • Place the banana slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 2–3 hours, or until fully frozen.
  • Add the frozen banana slices and Greek yogurt to a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until the mixture becomes smooth, thick, and creamy, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides.
  • Continue blending until the texture resembles soft-serve frozen yogurt and no banana chunks remain.
  • If the mixture seems too thick, add one spoonful of yogurt and blend again.
  • Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture, or transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 1–2 hours for a firmer consistency.
  • Add toppings such as berries, granola, or honey before serving.

  • Use very ripe bananas for the sweetest flavor and smoothest texture.
  • Frozen bananas are essential to create the creamy ice-cream-like consistency.
  • If fully frozen, let the frozen yogurt sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before scooping.
