Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese drained if watery
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt for extra tang
  • 1 teaspoon capers
  • Pinch red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Prep Ricotta (If Needed)
  • If ricotta is watery, drain in a fine mesh strainer for 10–15 minutes.
  • Blend Ingredients
  • Add ricotta, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, parsley, chives, basil, salt, and pepper to a food processor.
  • Process Until Smooth
  • Blend for 30–45 seconds until creamy and smooth.
  • For a chunkier texture, pulse briefly instead of fully blending.
  • Adjust Flavor
  • Taste and adjust salt or lemon juice as needed.
  • Serve
  • Transfer to a serving bowl.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle extra herbs on top before serving.

Notes

  • Fresh herbs give the brightest Green Goddess flavor.
  • Do not over-blend herbs to maintain vibrant color.
  • If dip is too thick, add 1–2 teaspoons olive oil or water.
  • If too thin, chill for 20 minutes to firm up.
  • Stir before serving if made ahead.
