  • 1 –2 eggs fresh, room temperature preferred
  • ¼ –½ cup shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite melting variety
  • 1 tsp butter or cooking spray optional, for extra crispiness
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Sliced tomatoes or avocado
  • Fresh spinach or arugula
  • Fresh herbs chives, parsley, basil
  • Hot sauce or ketchup

Instructions
 

  • Step 1 — Prepare the Bread
  • Lightly butter or spray the bread with oil for extra crispiness (optional).
  • Place the bread directly in the air fryer basket or on a tray.
  • Step 2 — Add the Egg

  • Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the egg.

  • Step 4 — Cook in the Air Fryer
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook for 6–8 minutes, adjusting based on desired egg doneness.
  • Check halfway to ensure the egg whites are set and cheese is melting evenly.
  • Step 5 — Serve
  • Serve immediately for maximum crunch and melty cheese.
