Ingredients
  

  • For the Chicken:
  • 2 –3 chicken breasts or thighs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Hawaiian Sauce:
  • 1 can pineapple chunks with juice
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar or honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp cornstarch optional, for thickening
  • Optional Add-Ins:
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup onions
  • 1 tsp grated ginger

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper and place in a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix pineapple (with juice), brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and ketchup.
  • Pour sauce evenly over the chicken.
  • Bake for 30–40 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
  • Optional: Remove some sauce, mix with cornstarch, and return to thicken.
  • Spoon sauce over chicken and serve warm.

  • Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
  • Do not overbake to keep chicken tender.
  • Use pineapple juice for richer flavor.
