Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
Slice or shred your cooked chicken. If using leftovers, reheat briefly in a pan with a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Toast the Bread:
Brush the bread with butter or olive oil and toast in a skillet until golden and crisp on both sides.
Assemble the Sandwich:
Spread pesto on the bottom half of each bun. Layer with chicken, cheese, tomato slices, and greens. Top with the remaining bread.
Melt and Press:
Grill each sandwich on medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until the cheese melts and the bread is crisp.
Serve:
Slice in half and enjoy warm with salad, chips, or soup.
