Ingredients
  

  • For the Roast:
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 4–5 pepperoncini peppers whole or sliced
  • ½ cup unsalted butter 1 stick
  • Optional Add-Ons:
  • 2–3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 small onion or 2 carrots sliced
  • ½ cup beef broth for extra juiciness
  • Fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Roast:
  • Pat the beef dry with paper towels. (Optional) Sear in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side to deepen the flavor and color.
  • Layer the Crockpot:
  • Place the roast in your slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and au jus mix evenly over the meat.
  • Add butter and pepperoncini peppers on top.
  • If using, add garlic, onions, or carrots around the roast.
  • Slow Cook:
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until the meat is fork-tender.
  • Shred & Mix:
  • Remove the roast and shred it using two forks.
  • Return the shredded meat to the pot and stir into the flavorful juices.
  • Serve:
  • Serve warm over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or thyme for color and aroma.
