  • 2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional Mix-Ins
  • Crushed peppermint candies
  • Chopped walnuts or pecans
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Sea salt flakes
  • Dried cranberries

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Your Pan
  • Line an 8x8-inch square pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal. Lightly grease if needed.
  • Melt and Mix
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir continuously until smooth and glossy. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
  • Add Mix-Ins
  • Fold in any optional ingredients such as nuts, peppermint, or marshmallows.
  • Pour and Set
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan. Let cool at room temperature for a bit, then refrigerate 2–3 hours until firm.
  • Slice and Serve
  • Lift fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into small squares and enjoy.
