Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • Sliced provolone gruyère, or Swiss cheese

Instructions
 

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the ground beef for 5–7 minutes until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chopped onion and sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened and translucent.
  • Stir in French onion soup and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Reduce heat and simmer the mixture for 10 minutes to blend flavors and reduce slightly.
  • Spoon the meat mixture onto toasted burger buns.
  • Top with sliced cheese, if desired. Serve warm.
