Preparation

  • Slice the brie into manageable pieces, ensuring that they can be layered easily.
  • If using fresh blackberries, wash and pat them dry gently.

Assembly

  • Take two slices of your chosen bread.
  • Layer one side with brie cheese slices.
  • Drizzle a small amount of blackberry balsamic over the cheese.
  • Add a few fresh blackberries atop the brie, if desired.

Grilling

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of butter.
  • Once melted, place your assembled sandwich in the pan and cook until the bread is golden brown (about 3-4 minutes).
  • Flip and repeat the process on the other side until the cheese melts adequately.

Serving

  • Once both sides are toasted to perfection and the cheese is beautifully melted, remove from the heat.
