Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup nuts pine nuts, walnuts, or almonds
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 –2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: fresh basil or parsley
  • Optional: red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Steam or blanch broccoli for 2–3 minutes until tender and bright green.
  • Drain and let cool slightly.
  • Add broccoli, garlic, nuts, and Parmesan to a food processor.
  • Pulse until finely chopped.
  • Slowly drizzle in olive oil while blending.
  • Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overcook broccoli to keep color and flavor fresh.
  • Add oil gradually for better texture.
  • Lemon juice enhances brightness and balance.
  • Adjust consistency with oil or water as needed.
