  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese For added flavor and creaminess.

  • to taste Salt and Pepper For seasoning.

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 cup Spinach For freshness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.
  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove and let them rest before slicing.
  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to low. Add the cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water until desired consistency.

Assembly

  • Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Slice the chicken and place it on top. Incorporate any optional add-ins if desired.

Serving

  • Plate the Cajun Chicken Alfredo, garnishing with extra Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked black pepper.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients and avoid overcooking the chicken. Adjust the spiciness by varying the amount of Cajun seasoning.
