Ingredients
  

  • Essential Ingredients:
  • 1 –2 shots espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee
  • ¾ cup milk whole, skim, or plant-based: oat, almond, soy
  • 2 tbsp caramel brulée syrup store-bought or homemade
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • 1 tsp sugar for brulée topping
  • Optional Additions:
  • Pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder
  • Extra caramel drizzle

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Espresso
  • Pull 1–2 shots of espresso ½ cup of strong coffee using your preferred method.
  • Step 2: Steam Milk
  • Heat milk to around 150°F (65°C) and froth to your desired texture. Avoid scalding.
  • Step 3: Add Caramel Syrup
  • Pour caramel brulée syrup into your cup first.
  • Step 4: Combine Espresso and Milk
  • Pour the espresso into the cup with syrup, then add steamed milk. Stir gently to mix.
  • Step 5: Top with Whipped Cream
  • Add a generous swirl of whipped cream on top.
  • Step 6: Caramelize Sugar
  • Sprinkle sugar over whipped cream and caramelize with a kitchen torch to create the signature brulée crust.
  • Tip: If you don’t have a torch, use a broiler or hot spoon carefully.
