- Bread Base:
- 3 cups all-purpose or bread flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
- ¾ cup warm milk
- ¼ cup softened butter
- 2 large eggs
- Cinnamon Swirl Filling:
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp softened butter

- Chopped walnuts or pecans
- Raisins or dried cranberries
- Glaze: powdered sugar + milk
Step 1 – Prepare the Dough
Activate yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar until frothy.
Mix in eggs, flour, salt, and butter. Knead until smooth and elastic.
Cover and let rise until doubled in size (1–2 hours).
Step 2 – Make the Cinnamon Swirl
Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter into a spreadable paste.
Step 3 – Assemble the Bread
Roll dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
Spread cinnamon mixture evenly. Sprinkle optional nuts or dried fruit.
Roll tightly into a log, pinch seams to seal, and place in a greased loaf pan.
Step 4 – Second Rise & Bake
