Ingredients
  

  • Main Ingredients:
  • 2 black tea bags or 2 tsp loose-leaf black tea
  • 1 cup milk whole, oat, or almond
  • ½ cup water
  • 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp cardamom
  • A pinch of cloves
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • Optional Additions:
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Cinnamon stick or crushed candy cane for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Simmer Spices
  • In a small saucepan, bring water and all spices to a gentle simmer for 1–2 minutes to release their aroma.
  • Steep Tea
  • Add tea bags to the pan and steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
  • Add Milk & Sweetener
  • Stir in milk and honey (or maple syrup). Warm gently — don’t let it boil.
  • Strain & Serve
  • Strain the mixture into a mug.
  • Top & Garnish
  • Add whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or crushed candy cane if desired.

Notes

  • Froth the milk for a creamy café-style finish.
  • Oat milk adds natural sweetness and richness.
  • Add vanilla or maple syrup for an extra festive layer of flavor.
