- 12 oz bowtie farfalle pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ½ cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste optional
- 4 oz cream cheese or ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning optional
- Fresh parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)
Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Sauté onion until softened.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add beef broth and tomato paste (if using), and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
