Instructions

  • Step 1: Pre-Cooking Prep

  • Mince garlic.
  • Bring chicken broth to a gentle simmer in a large pot.
  • Step 2: Cook the Chicken
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chicken in a single layer. Cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Step 3: Build the Creamy Garlic Broth
  • Reduce heat to medium-low.
  • Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant (do not brown).
  • Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce.
  • Stir in heavy cream.
  • Simmer gently for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Step 4: Cook the Ramen
  • Add ramen noodles directly into the broth.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes until just tender.
  • Return cooked chicken to the pot and heat through.
  • Doneness or Texture Check
  • Creamy Garlic Chicken Ramen is ready when:
  • Noodles are tender but not mushy
  • Broth is creamy and lightly thickened
  • Chicken is fully heated through
  • Avoid overcooking the noodles—they soften quickly.
  • Resting or Final Touches
  • Remove from heat and let sit for 2–3 minutes.
  • Top with sliced green onions, soft-boiled egg halves, parsley, Parmesan, or extra cracked pepper.
  • Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

  • Use low-sodium broth to prevent oversalting.
  • Keep heat moderate once cream is added to avoid separation.
  • Garlic burns quickly—cook just until fragrant.
  • For reheating, add a splash of broth or milk to loosen the sauce.
