Ingredients
  

Pasta and Shrimp

  • 8 oz linguine pasta Cook al dente
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Opt for fresh shrimp if possible

Sauce Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp olive oil For sautéing the shrimp

  • Salt and pepper, to taste Season each component well

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sautéing the Shrimp

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combining Ingredients

  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and zest. Add the cooked linguine and shrimp back into the skillet.
  • Toss everything together until well coated in the creamy sauce.

Serving
