These Crispy Air Fryer Shrimp and Cream Cheese Wontons are better than takeout—golden, crunchy, and loaded with savory shrimp and creamy filling. This air fryer appetizer is quick, healthier than deep-fried versions, and perfect for parties or snacks.

Ingredients
  

  • Shrimp finely chopped
  • Cream cheese softened
  • Green onions chopped
  • Garlic powder
  • Soy sauce
  • Wonton wrappers
  • Cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the chopped shrimp, softened cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce until well combined.
  • Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  • Lightly wet the wrapper edges with water, fold into triangles, and press tightly to seal. Optional: fold corners inward for extra crunch.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange wontons in a single layer.
  • Lightly spray the tops of the wontons.
  • Air fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Notes

  • For a spicy twist, add sriracha or chili flakes to the filling.
  • Swap shrimp with crab meat, canned tuna, or go vegetarian with spinach and mushrooms.
  • Serve with sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, or spicy mayo for dipping.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer to maintain crispiness.
  • Freeze uncooked wontons for later—cook straight from frozen, adding 2–3 minutes to the cook time.
