- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce use low-sodium if preferred
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 4–5 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil optional
- Optional Add-Ins:
- ½ small onion sliced
- ½ bell pepper sliced
- ¼ teaspoon chili flakes for heat
- To Thicken the Sauce Optional:
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- For Garnish and Serving:
- Chopped green onions
- Sesame seeds
- Steamed rice noodles, or vegetables
Step 1: Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, and sesame oil until smooth.
Step 2: Add to Crockpot
Place chicken in the slow cooker.
Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken, making sure it’s well coated.
