- 1 lb ground beef 85/15 lean
- 1 small green cabbage shredded
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small onion chopped
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil or cooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes or sriracha for heat
- Green onions sliced (for garnish)
Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add more oil if needed. Sauté chopped onion and garlic until fragrant.
Add shredded cabbage and stir-fry for 5–7 minutes, until slightly tender but still crisp.
Return beef to the skillet. Add soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir well to combine.
Cook together for 2–3 more minutes to let flavors meld.
