- Main Ingredients:
- 4–5 medium potatoes peeled and diced
- 14 oz smoked sausage kielbasa, sliced
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional Add-Ins:
- Bell peppers or jalapeños chopped
- Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish
- A pinch of paprika or smoked paprika for color and depth
Pre-cook Potatoes:
Boil diced potatoes for 10 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
Cook Sausage:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown sliced smoked sausage on both sides. Remove and set aside.
Sauté Aromatics:
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions and garlic until soft and fragrant.
