  • 1 oz packet chicken gravy mix
  • 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • ¾ cup water or chicken broth
  • ½ tsp garlic powder or onion powder optional, for added flavor

Instructions

  • Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the chicken gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, and water or broth until smooth.
  • Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is fork-tender.
  • Shred the chicken directly in the crockpot and stir to combine with the gravy.
  • Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, egg noodles, or toast.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness and flavor.
  • Add sour cream or a splash of milk at the end for a creamier gravy.
  • Stir in frozen peas or sautéed mushrooms before serving for added texture.
  • Season the chicken before cooking with paprika, pepper, or Italian seasoning for more depth.
