Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Creamy Garlic-Parmesan Sauce:
  • 4–5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup heavy cream or sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon paprika optional
  • Toppings:
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: ½ cup breadcrumbs mixed with 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat & Prep:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Arrange in a single layer in the dish.
  • Make Sauce:
  • In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, garlic, Parmesan, heavy cream (or sour cream), and paprika until smooth.
  • Spread the mixture evenly over the chicken.
  • Top & Bake:
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
  • Add optional breadcrumb topping if using.
  • Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Serve:
  • Let rest for 5 minutes.
