Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef lean preferred
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms optional
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 ½ cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • Optional Add-Ins:
  • Shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • Hot sauce or red pepper flakes
  • Hoagie rolls if serving as sandwiches

Instructions
 

  • Cook Ground Beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and break it apart. Cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
  • Add Vegetables: Add sliced onions, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Cook until softened and lightly caramelized.
  • Add Garlic & Sauce: Stir in minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce, mixing well to coat all ingredients.
  • Add Cheese: Sprinkle cheese evenly over the mixture. Cover and let it melt over low heat.
  • Serve: Serve directly from the skillet or in toasted hoagie rolls for a sandwich-style meal.
