Cook the Pasta
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Sear the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium-high heat.
Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of garlic powder.
Cook until golden and tender, then remove from the pan.
Make the Honey Pepper Sauce
In the same skillet, add a touch of butter if needed.
Sauté onion until translucent, then add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Drizzle in honey and stir until it bubbles slightly.
Pour in heavy cream and stir until smooth and glossy.
Add freshly cracked pepper and let simmer 2–3 minutes.
Combine Everything
Return chicken to the pan and toss to coat in sauce.
Add pasta and mix gently until evenly covered.
If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
Stir in Parmesan and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or honey to taste.
Serve & Garnish
Serve immediately, topped with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.
