Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: parsley or green onions
  • Optional: chili flakes

Instructions
 

  • Cook rice ahead of time and keep warm.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink, then remove.
  • In the same pan, melt butter and add garlic; cook until fragrant.
  • Return shrimp to the pan.
  • Add lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss to coat and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
  • Shape rice using a bowl or mold and place on a plate.
  • Top with garlic butter shrimp and drizzle extra sauce.
  • Garnish and serve.

  • Do not overcook shrimp to avoid a rubbery texture.
