Ingredients
  

  • Coffee Base:
  • 1 –2 cups hot coffee or espresso
  • Optional: flavored coffee for extra depth
  • Gingerbread Syrup / Spice Mix:
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp molasses
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg and cloves
  • Optional: store-bought gingerbread syrup
  • Creaminess & Toppings:
  • ¼ cup milk cream, or plant-based milk (almond, oat, etc.)
  • Whipped cream optional
  • Optional garnish: cinnamon stick grated nutmeg, or chocolate shavings

Instructions
 

  • Step 1 — Heat the Coffee
  • Brew your hot coffee or espresso. Ensure it’s hot enough to mix smoothly with the syrup and milk.
  • Step 2 — Prepare the Gingerbread Flavor
  • In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, molasses, and spices. Heat gently until sugar dissolves and the spices become aromatic, forming a homemade gingerbread syrup.
  • Step 3 — Combine Coffee and Syrup
  • Pour syrup into hot coffee and stir. Adjust sweetness and spice intensity to taste.
  • Step 4 — Add Creaminess
  • Froth milk or cream and pour into the coffee for a silky texture. Top with whipped cream if desired.
  • Step 5 — Garnish and Serve
