Ingredients

  • 1 cup green apple soda
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • Optional
  • 1 tablespoon green apple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional Toppings
  • Whipped cream
  • Maraschino cherry
  • Thin green apple slices
  • Caramel drizzle

Instructions

  • Chill a tall soda glass in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes if possible.
  • Slowly pour ¾ cup of green apple soda into the glass.
  • Add one scoop of vanilla ice cream to the soda. The soda will begin to bubble and foam slightly.
  • Gently place the second scoop of ice cream on top.
  • Slowly pour the remaining soda over the ice cream to create the classic float effect.
  • Add optional toppings like whipped cream, cherry, or apple slices.
  • Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.

Notes

  • Always use well-chilled soda to keep the float fizzy and refreshing.
  • Pour the soda slowly to prevent the drink from overflowing.
  • Vanilla ice cream creates the best balance with the tart apple flavor.
  • For extra apple flavor, add a drizzle of green apple syrup.
