Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour or oat flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Wet Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chocolate Goodness:
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips plus extra for topping

Instructions
 

  • Step 1 – Preheat & Prep:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • Step 2 – Mix Dry Ingredients:
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Step 3 – Combine Wet Ingredients:
  • In another bowl, whisk Greek yogurt, eggs, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla until smooth.
  • Step 4 – Bring It All Together:
  • Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Step 5 – Bake:
  • Spoon batter evenly into muffin cups. Top with a few extra chocolate chips. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Step 6 – Cool & Enjoy:
  • Let muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
