This Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp & Broccoli is a fast, flavorful weeknight dinner ready in just 20 minutes! Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes optional, for spice
  • Optional Add-Ins:
  • 1 tsp sesame oil for extra flavor
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water for thicker sauce
  • Bell peppers or snap peas for extra color

Instructions
 

  • Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 1–2 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Set aside.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove from pan.
  • Add garlic to the same skillet and sauté for 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
  • Pour in the honey sauce and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
  • Add shrimp and broccoli back into the pan, tossing to coat in the sauce until glossy.
  • Serve immediately over rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.

Notes

  • Don’t overcook shrimp they only need a few minutes per side.
  • For thicker sauce, simmer longer or stir in a cornstarch slurry.
  • Use unsalted butter to control salt levels.
  • This recipe reheats best on the stove over low heat.
