- 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes optional, for spice
- Optional Add-Ins:
- 1 tsp sesame oil for extra flavor
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water for thicker sauce
- Bell peppers or snap peas for extra color
Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 1–2 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Set aside.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove from pan.
Add garlic to the same skillet and sauté for 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
Pour in the honey sauce and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
Add shrimp and broccoli back into the pan, tossing to coat in the sauce until glossy.
Serve immediately over rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
