Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts or 4 chicken thighs sliced
  • 2 –3 jalapeños sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger optional
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: cornstarch for thickening
  • Optional: green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Remove chicken and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, and jalapeños and cook for 1–2 minutes.
  • Add soy sauce and honey, stirring to combine.
  • Return chicken to the pan and toss to coat.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust heat level by removing or keeping jalapeño seeds.
  • Do not overcook chicken to keep it tender.
  • Add cornstarch slurry for a thicker sauce if desired.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat with a splash of water if sauce thickens too much.
