- 1 lb ground beef chicken, or turkey
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 can 10–11 oz cream of mushroom or chicken soup
- 1 –2 cups shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or blend
- 2 cups cooked pasta rice, or cubed potatoes
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Salt pepper, paprika to taste
- Optional Add-Ins:
- Vegetables: peas carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms
- Toppings: breadcrumbs extra cheese, fresh herbs
- Spices: oregano thyme, smoked paprika
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
Cook ground meat with onion and garlic until browned; season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Drain if needed.
In a bowl, blend cream cheese with soup (add a splash of milk for smoother sauce).
Combine meat mixture with cream cheese sauce.
Layer cooked pasta or potatoes in casserole dish, pour in meat and sauce mixture, and smooth evenly.
Top with shredded cheese; optionally add breadcrumbs or crushed crackers with butter.
Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden, bubbly, and slightly crisp. Let cool a few minutes before serving.
