- Main Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 small head cabbage chopped
- 1 small onion diced
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 can 14 oz crushed tomatoes (sugar-free)
- 4 cups beef broth low-sodium
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp thyme
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Optional Add-Ins:
- 1 cup cauliflower rice adds thickness
- Red pepper flakes for spice
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Splash of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
Brown the Meat: Heat olive oil in a large pot, add ground beef, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if desired.
