Ingredients

  • Core Ingredients
  • 1 –2 ripe mangoes peeled and chopped (or 1–2 cups frozen mango chunks)
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or plain yogurt
  • 1 –2 tsp honey agave, or preferred natural sweetener
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • Optional Boosters
  • 1 banana for extra creaminess
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • ½ tsp fresh grated ginger
  • ¼ cup coconut milk for tropical flavor
  • Protein powder for an energizing boost
  • 1 tsp lime juice for a citrusy kick

Instructions

  • Step 1 – Prep the Mango
  • Slice fresh mango around the pit and scoop out the flesh.
  • If using frozen mango, no prep is needed—frozen chunks help create a thicker smoothie.
  • Step 2 – Blend Ingredients
  • Add mango, milk, yogurt, ice, and sweetener to a blender.
  • Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  • Adjust consistency: add milk if too thick, or more frozen mango/ice if too thin.
  • Step 3 – Adjust Flavor
  • Add banana, lime juice, coconut milk, or ginger to customize flavor and sweetness.
  • Blend again for even texture.
  • Step 4 – Serve
  • Pour into chilled glasses or jars.
  • Optional toppings: fresh mango slices, chia seeds, coconut flakes, or a mint sprig.
  • Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Use ripe, fragrant mangoes for natural sweetness.
  • Frozen mango helps achieve a thick, creamy texture without extra ice.
  • Adjust sweetness with honey, agave, or naturally sweet fruits like banana.
  • Layer with yogurt or fruit puree for an Instagram-worthy presentation.
