Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 8 oz linguine or any pasta of choice

Shrimp

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined ensure shrimp are fresh

Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced adds flavor and aroma
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream for a rich and creamy sauce
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • to taste Salt and pepper for seasoning

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the linguine in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Cooking Shrimp

  • Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and bring to a gentle simmer. Allow it to thicken slightly.
  • Stir in the grated parmesan cheese, mixing until it melts into the sauce.

Combining

  • Add the cooked linguine and shrimp back into the skillet, tossing everything together to coat the pasta thoroughly in the creamy sauce.

Serving

  • Serve the pasta on plates, garnished with fresh basil leaves.

Notes

For an extra kick, consider adding red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days, and reheat gently.
