  • 1 can biscuit dough Use refrigerated biscuit dough.
  • 1/2 cup Nutella Substitute with other fillings if desired.
  • 1/2 cup sugar For coating the churro bombs.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Mix with sugar for topping.
  • as needed Oil for frying Use enough oil to submerge the churro bombs halfway.

Preparation

  • Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit to about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Place a generous teaspoon of Nutella in the center of each flattened biscuit. Make sure to leave some space around the edges.
  • Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit over the Nutella and pinch to seal them tightly.

Frying

  • In a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat until hot.
  • Gently add your churro bombs to the hot oil and fry them until golden brown, typically about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Remove the churro bombs and let them drain on a paper towel for a minute.
  • While still warm, roll them in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

Notes

Serve warm for the best experience. Consider offering chocolate sauce, caramel, or whipped cream for dipping. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
