  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
  • Cut into 6-inch strips.
  • Fill each strip with shredded mozzarella down the center.
  • Fold and seal the dough to enclose the cheese.
  • Shape each breadstick into a bone by tying small knots on both ends.
  • Place on a lined baking sheet.
  • Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

• Let dough rest if it resists shaping.
• Use a pizza cutter for uniform strips.
• For extra flavor, mix cheeses or add pepperoni or sausage inside.
• Bake 2 to 3 minutes longer for a crispier texture.
• Great with ranch, Alfredo, or cheese dip.
