Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple (diced, or canned) Use ripe fresh pineapple for best flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Use high-quality heavy cream for richness.
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk Add more for a sweeter ice cream if desired.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the flavor.
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

Preparation

  • Prepare the Pineapple: If using fresh pineapple, peel and core it, then chop it into small chunks. For canned, simply drain the juice.
  • Blend the Base: In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
  • Taste and Adjust: Give your mixture a taste. If you prefer a sweeter ice cream, feel free to add more condensed milk or sugar.
  • Chill: Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and smooth the top. Cover it tightly with a lid or plastic wrap.
  • Freeze: Let the ice cream freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best texture.

Notes

Store in an airtight container to prevent ice crystals. For the best flavor and texture, enjoy it within the first week. Serve in a coconut shell for fun presentation.
