Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon pepperoncini juice
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: butter
  • Optional: fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes per side until golden.
  • Remove chicken and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Pour in chicken broth and pepperoncini juice, scraping up browned bits.
  • Add pepperoncini peppers.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it.
  • Simmer for 10–15 minutes until chicken is fully cooked (165°F/74°C).
  • Add butter if desired, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

  • Adjust pepperoncini juice to control tanginess.
  • Avoid overcooking chicken to keep it juicy.
