  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs basil, oregano, thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic glaze or vinegar optional
  • Baguette slices crackers, or pita chips, for serving
  • Optional Add-Ins
  • Red pepper flakes for heat
  • Fresh basil or parsley chopped, for garnish
  • Diced onions or bell peppers

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Tomato Mixture:
  • Dice and drain tomatoes. Mix with olive oil, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper. Let rest for 10 minutes to absorb flavors.
  • Combine the Cheeses:
  • In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, mozzarella, and parmesan until smooth and creamy.
  • Layer the Dip:
  • Spread cheese mixture evenly in a small baking dish. Spoon the tomato mixture on top, spreading gently. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
  • Bake:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
  • Garnish and Serve:
  • Top with chopped basil or parsley. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices, pita chips, or crackers.
