- For the Roll-Ups:
- Sliced turkey breast cooked or leftover
- Stuffing homemade or store-bought
- Optional: cheese slices cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella
- Olive oil or melted butter for brushing
- For the Creamy Gravy:
- Pan drippings or turkey stock
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- ½ –1 cup heavy cream or milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh or dried herbs thyme, sage
- Optional Add-Ins:
- Cranberry sauce for a sweet-tangy kick
- Sautéed onions or mushrooms

Step 1 – Prepare the Turkey and Stuffing:
Slice turkey into thin, even pieces. Reheat or lightly prepare stuffing to make it easy to spread without being too dry or wet.
Step 2 – Assemble the Roll-Ups:
Lay a turkey slice flat. Spread a layer of stuffing on top and add cheese if desired. Roll turkey around the stuffing tightly, securing with a toothpick if needed. Place roll-ups seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
Step 3 – Bake the Roll-Ups:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush roll-ups with melted butter or olive oil. Bake for 15–20 minutes until heated through and lightly golden.
Step 4 – Make the Creamy Gravy:
Melt butter in a saucepan and whisk in flour to create a roux. Gradually add turkey stock and cream, whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Simmer until thickened, then season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
Step 5 – Serve:
Drizzle gravy over the baked roll-ups. Garnish with fresh herbs or cranberries if desired. Serve immediately.
-
Prevent soggy roll-ups: Use slightly dry stuffing and bake uncovered.
-
Enhance flavor: Brush turkey slices with butter, add cheese, or sprinkle herbs.
-
Save time: Use leftovers, assemble ahead, and make gravy while roll-ups bake.
