Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 medium Watermelon, ripe Choose a ripe and sweet watermelon for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice Optional for a zesty twist.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or sugar Optional, adjust to taste.
  • 5 leaves Mint leaves Optional for a refreshing hint.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by cutting the watermelon into smaller chunks. Remove any seeds if necessary.

Blending

  • In a blender, combine the watermelon chunks with a splash of lime juice and honey (or sugar) if using. Blend until smooth and adjust sweetness if needed.

Freezing

  • Pour the watermelon mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a small space at the top as the mixture will expand while freezing. Insert sticks and place the molds in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours, or until solid.

Serving

  • Once frozen, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds to help release the popsicles. Enjoy your homemade watermelon popsicles right away!

Notes

For creative twists, try adding fresh mint leaves, substituting part of the watermelon juice with coconut water, or mixing in berries like strawberries or blueberries for added flavor.
