These Reese’s Pieces cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with peanut butter flavor. Loaded with colorful candy-coated bites, they’re an easy and irresistible treat perfect for parties, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • Wet Ingredients:
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Dry Ingredients:
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Mix-Ins:
  • ¾ cup Reese’s Pieces
  • ½ cup chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in Reese’s Pieces and optional chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough into balls, place on baking sheet, and slightly flatten.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers remain soft.
  • Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a rack.

Notes

  • Do not overbake to keep cookies soft and chewy.
  • Use room temperature butter for better mixing.
  • Chill dough if needed for thicker cookies.
  • Press extra Reese’s Pieces on top before baking for a bakery-style look.
  • Measure flour properly to avoid dry cookies.
