These cowboy butter steak bites are juicy, tender, and smothered in a bold garlic-butter sauce with herbs, lemon, and spices. Quick to make in under 20 minutes, they’re perfect as an appetizer or main dish that delivers big flavor with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs steak sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin, cut into bite-sized cubes
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Cut steak into cubes and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
- Sear steak bites in batches, 2–3 minutes per side, until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Stir in garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and parsley.
- Simmer for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in cowboy butter.
- Serve immediately with extra sauce spooned over the top.
